“What is Love?”
We always say I love you.
Or, I love this or that.
People say they fall in love.
What does love require?
Let us explore what Love means to us.
We know that we are a Soul, inhabiting a body.
Our Soul is a spark of God our Creator.
God is Love and equals Light!
If God is part of us, then in God we have our being!
That means our being is of Light and Love!
Through our parents we were born into our bodies.
They cared and loved and helped us grow.
Then we have to decide for our self what love is.
What do we require in that word Love?
Love is in our heart and can express itself in many ways.
Love has an energy that moves a feeling!
Examples like:
Being committed.
Being helpful.
Being generous in giving.
Nurture and teach others
Being Respectful
Giving emotional support.
Sharing resources.
Give guidance
Sharing goods
Simply caring
Protective
These are not all think of more.
Being a good friend with all the above is sure very Loving!
Even half of the above is Loving!
And some of it is loving too!
It depends on how much ability you have, what you can give in Love.
Not all expected loving attributes are found in one person.
First we must love our Self and recognize our worth.
From our own “well” of love, Gods love within us, we can share it.
Love can attract a feeling for another person.
If it is that pure love from God within us, they call it Agape love.
The opposite to love and Light is Control and darkness!
Controlling another person is unloving.
We all have a destiny and lessons to learn, the biggest is to Love.
To care for each other! Help each other to grow.
Love makes the world a better place.
Love brings peace in our hearts and on earth.
The Light of God surrounds us,
The love of God enfolds us,
The power of God protects us,
The presence of God watches over us,
Wherever we are God is,
And all is well!
